Regional Office want to hear your stories

Diabetes UK’s south west office is always on the lookout for strong case studies to offer to the media. These are important because they show what it is really like to live with diabetes and help raise awareness of the condition.
In particular, their regional media officer Susannah Hickling is interested in stories of people who people who have taken steps to avoid developing Type 2 diabetes, people who have succeeded in controlling their Type 2 diabetes or putting it in remission with diet and exercise, those who have experienced mental health problems or complications such as retinopathy or foot problems because of their condition, and people of South Asian, African-Caribbean or Black African heritage who have diabetes.
If this is you or you know anyone who is willing to be a media case study, please contact Susannah on Susannah.hickling@diabetes.org.uk.
